For Daily Use — Distribute a small amount evenly through wet hair, working into a lather by gently massaging hair and scalp. Rinse thoroughly and repeat if necessary. Follow with appropriate conditioner if needed. 

As a Treatment Prior to Chemical Services — Distribute a small amount evenly through dry hair, gently working into a lather over entire hair strands gently working up towards the scalp without causing any irritation to the skin. Place a plastic bag over hair and leave at room temperature for 20 minutes or under the dryer for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. On excessive build-ups, repeat treatment and use good professional judgment if scalp and hair can proceed successfully with chemical services.
